ELLE 18 COLOR POPS MATTE

Hello everyone today I am going to review the most cheapest matte lipstick that is elle 18 color pops matte. I am here gonna review two colours, one is R31 & P22.

PRICE: 100Rs for 4.3gm  (I got it for 80Rs from Nykaa , it was on discount that time).

EXPIRY: 24 MONTHS


My take:

Elle 18 color pop matte lipstick are seriously matte lipstick and at this price range they are perfect. Very smooth, easily glides on your lips and it is creamy as well so you don't need lipbalm to apply frequently. It acts as a lipbalm too since it moisturises well.Colour pay off is good , at one swatch it becomes opaque there is no need to apply several swatches because I think colour remained same when I reapplied, it only became intense.

R31: It is a beautiful mauve-pink shade which will suit any Indian skin tone nicely. I love this colour, it is dark pink + purple and brightens up my face instantly, it looks beautiful on my weatish skin tone and I think it will suit most of the skin tone. R31 is a beautiful colour and one should absolutely try it.

Shade P22: This is my favourite colour , it merges to your skin and gives you nude but bright appearance. Even my friends like this colour so much, I always gets compliments when I apply this colour. It is a everyday office colour which look subtle but bright also. It is a perfect everyday colour. The colour is orange but subtle orange. It is like mixture of Red+Orange. It  just merges with your skin tone and make overall appearance appealing.

Staying power : 3-4 hrs , though it leaves a tint when it is gone which looks beautiful. It do transfers alot and if you are having oily food then your lipstick will completely fade.

Packaging: very cute . Packaging is just like any other elle 18 lipstick with color pop written on it. The only problem is that no colour is mentioned on the top ,you have to look below to read the color and other thing is that no colour is mentioned just number is given so you have to open the lipstick cover to know the colour.

  4. wide shade range. I think there are 20 shades so a variety of shades to choose from depending upon your skin tone.
  5. Travel-friendly
  6. Staying power is not that bad and then it leaves a tint which looks pretty
  7. packaging is cute
  8. creamy,moisturising, dosen't dry out your lips
CONS:
  1. Tranfers
  2. Staying power just 4-5 hrs(though I am ok with it)
  3. Not able to detect colour from packaging.
VERDICT: 4/5
