Khadi meghdoot mahabhringraj oil

Hello everyone today I am going to review about khadi meghdoot mahabhringraj oil.  Bhringraj is a medicinal herb also known as false daisy, the oil of which is used to treat dandruff, greying of hair, hair fall and other hair related problems, even it cures baldness too. It is considered as an elixir for hair which treats all hair related problem. 

I purchased this oil from khadi store. They have two variants in this oil one was bhringraj oil and the other was mahabhringraj oil, I purchased mahabhringraj because it helps in cooling of head and to induce good sleep.

CLAIMS:

Highly effective for weak memory , mental-tension,migraine, headache, weak eye sight, dandruff  & prevents hair loss. Regular use maintains blackness of hair and makes hair thick and long.

HOW TO USE:

Apply 5-10 ml of oil in your roots and massage well. It specifically states, to use 3 times a week. If any specific ailment then use on the advice of medical practitioner.

MY TAKE:

I was having severe hair fall , greying of hair, dandruff,  my baby hair were shedding, my hair were frizzy and limp. I was using coconut oil mixed with shea butter before. But it didn't helped, I started applying curd which helped alot but because I have sinus problem, my sinus aggravated every time I used curd.

So I googled some oil in which I found that khadi heena & Rosemary oil was one of the best oil for hair fall problem, I went to khadi store to buy heena & rosemary oil, but that oil was out of stock so I asked the sales person to give me oil for hairfall, dandruff and greying of hair, he first handed me bhringraj oil, but the problem was that they only have big bottle of bhringraj oil which costed 300 Rs and I don't want to buy a big bottle because I wasn't sure whether this oil will suit me or not. So he handed me a bottle of maha bhringraj oil stating that it is used to induce good night sleep alongwith it also has the benefits of regular bhringraj and he certainly has small bottle of it so I picked up one.

Since It is a cooling oil so I thought it will be like navratan oil which is tooo cool for me, like whenever I apply that oil after one hour of application I start to sneeze, cough and what not. My sinus aggravates.

So as a test I first applied on my mother's hair. I  asked her about the review , she told me that it has no cooling effect it is just a normal oil. Now one thing I noticed when I applied on my mother's hair was after applying oil and massaging it I comb hair to spread oil on each strand while combing I didn't see any hair fall, not even a single, though my mother does not have hair fall problem but when I use to apply coconut oil on my mother's hair ,5-10 strands use to appear in the comb but this time nada.. no hair at all... I was amazed by this but then she does not had any hair fall problem.

So here come the next day when I applied on my hair, thankfully there was no cooling sensation, while applying oil my hair fall reduced to a great extent. Here you can see the picture of how much hair fall occurred while application of oil.

Just look at the amount of hair it is so less, before this a bush of hair falls from my hair. In the morning I used my shampoo (meera herbal powder shampoo , Review here  https://cuteascuppcake.blogspot.in/2018/03/meera-hair-wash-powder.html ),  and then washed my hair, surprisingly no hair has fallen, like none, I was so happy with this and then the time came when everyone looses hair , is while de-tangling hair specially when you are not a conditioner lover, de- tangling is a big task, now my hair were totally tangled up when it dried so while de-tangling I just lost 5 -7 hair only, and that's amazing. In just one application if you get this results then I am begging you to immediately start using this oil. Now there is second amazing thing happened to me , even after next day of shampoo my hair did not become oily & also there was no dandruff , it actually removed dandruff.

Actually when I purchased it I was not hoping to review this product, I was going to review it after one month of usage , but the result intrigued me to blog it immediately but I will again try to update about this product after one month, to tell you whether or not the product is consistent in its results.

PROS:

1. cheap
2. available at all khadi stores
3. very effective in hair fall and dandruff also makes your hair look fuller.
4. there are other brands too who make mahabringraj oil like - baidyanath (check here  https://www.amazon.in/Baidyanath-Mahabhringraj-Tail-100ml/dp/B00A18OFXY)
5. light weight and runny , so it will not limp your hair down and also if your hair roots are not strong and you are experiencing hair fall then its better to use light hair oil so that it does not weigh down your hair and does not make hair roots more weak.

         6. Flip cap opening so travel friendly. It has one inner cap in which you have to make hole from                pin then oil starts coming from outer hole.

CONS:

1. I am not able to find it online, so one has to search for stores in there cities
2. I don't know whether it contained mineral oil or not, nor I find anything about the presence of SLS or Parabens, nothing is mentioned in packaging.
3. other than this, nothing.
