Hello everyone today I am going to review all about Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Kumkumadi Tailam . Kumkumadi tailam made from saffron (kesar) is known to help the skin retain its youthful appearance. Brightens face ,reduce dark spot,pigmentation,Improves skin texture and helps to prevent wrinkles. It is said to be an all in one beauty fluid. I discovered this serum last year but i am using this now in fact its been a week since I am using this and now its the time to share my experience. Normally ayurvedic product takes time to show results and same is the case with this oil but you can see a noticeable difference in just 3-4 days.

PACKAGING: ok-ok since oil spills when you shake the bottle so I would say that the bottle is not-at-all travel friendly
  
Since I have purchased it last year I have lost its outer packaging only the inner bottle is left with me now.

 I have used almost 70 %  of the bottle. Some I have used last year and now this year. 

HOW I USE & MY TAKE

First thing I would like to mention is my skin type which is oily specially the T-zone area, highly sensitive that even less than 8 hours of sleep results pimples on my face, pimple prone skin (with those pimples which lefts a good black spot on face).If I start from my last year experience using this oil was not good.The consistency of this oil is thick which makes it difficult for it to massage on your face and also because of this thick consistency the oil feels heavy on skin as if you have applied mustard oil on your face. 

I use to take 4-5 drops of this oil and apply generously on my face and massage it all over and then leave it overnight. In morning I would left with tons of oil in my face and then after 3 days pimples popped up that to be big huge pimples.In those 3 days of using I do have seen improvement in the texture of the skin and also the complexion of my skin too, its brightened up and my face shinned like a sun-kissed face but those pimples made me realised that this product dos not suit my sensitive skin so I stopped using it and overtime I got back my normal boring skinšŸ˜“.

This year when I saw this oil sitting on my wardrobe shelf  I again thought of using it as I was having a big pimple mark on my face but this time with more internet searched knowledge. This time I first dampened my face with rose water and then took 5 drops of oil and again applied it generously on face, now after dampening, this oil was tad easy to apply and it does not felt thick ,it just smoothly spread-ed on my face. Now comes another trick instead of keeping overnight I just kept this for an HOUR and some times upto three hour but not more than that. Before sleeping I just wash it off with normal water (no facewash just normal tap water) pat-dry my face with towel, all the extra oil washed out and then I slept. Surprisingly the results in the morning were same as it was when I applied it overnight but without any extra traces oil, only glowing face from within. 

Now it has been a week (7 days full) and i did not face any problem with this oil, rather new emerging pimples subsided , so instead of causing acne it actually cured it and now my face has no acne at all it just have open pores, pits, acne spot and red spots which I think after using this oil regularly for 6 months will cure most of my problems.

Here you can see I still have pits and spots on my face which are dark šŸ˜ƒstill in one week my complexion improved and my face is shiny then before.I am gonna update on that big acne scar soon when it will be gone. I think it will take at-least a month to see acne spot disappearing.

5. natural sunscreen (but apply it only in evening not in morning)

6. anti-acne( it really worked in suppressing existing acne and also helped preventing new one )

7. since it makes your face hydrated so it may act as an anti ageing    and help in removing wrinkles too.

CONS

Right now none since it is working beautifully. Whatever results I am getting I am happy with it now.
